“The old town's first toast.”
A cathedral of beer in the stone of the old town. The first place you see crossing into Vegueta: 150+ labels, Canarian-German cooking and the most coveted terrace by the Cathedral.
Vegueta's gateway
A hundred metres from the Cathedral of Santa Ana, where the volcanic stone of the old town begins, you'll find us: the first stop as you enter Vegueta. Since 2006 we've poured beer the way it deserves —right glass, right temperature— and served small plates that bridge the Canaries and Central Europe.
We're halfway to becoming something new. The name is changing; the local landmark isn't.

The kitchen
Real fusion, not a postcard. Mojos that bite and pork knuckles that comfort — to go with the beer or to stay for dinner.
The Canarian stew, reinvented with tender octopus.
Crisp outside, melting within. Made to share.
The essential. Red and green, the Canarian way.
House legend. Yes, thirty-three centimetres.
La Gomera sweetness over a crisp fry.
Filo, almond and a hint of travel.
The ritual
Every Thursday the whole neighbourhood comes down to Vegueta. We answer with pinchos, cold beer and live music. It's our night, and the old town's.
The space
Under the trees of Obispo Codina or in the warmth of the inner stone. Room for a quick beer, a long dinner, or your private celebration.
The most sought-after table in Vegueta, in the cool of the old town.
Seats ~50, with corners for groups and couples alike.
